The best part is that these built-in effects mean you don’t have to install plugins. Shotcut includes a range of effects for a video that lift it from the range of beginner freeware to a useful intermediate editing tool. To add a video or audio track, click the three horizontal stripes at the top of the timeline panel, then select Track Operations and your preferred option.
